I woke up at 2:30 am to watch the match between Man Utd and Barcelona. That was a first live match I watched for champions league. This is because I don’t have astro at my rented house.
This morning was so excited when I woke up for the match, as I am a football lover I love to watch football.
When come to 14th minutes, a stunning goal from Paul Scholes gave Manchester United a 1-0 lead and the match ended with same scores means that Man Utd thru to Final in Moscow. After 9 years, Man Utd got themselves a passport to Champions League final.
It been long time we never win Europe silverware, Hope we can win it this year.

Bad Experience!!
Gonna share with all of u guys a very bad experience that I had recently.
I bought 2 items from an electrical shop in ss2, named Legend. I bought an induction cooker and a fridge.
Incident 1
The induction cooker costs me 170 with a “FREE” cooking pot. I tested it at home after buying. The bottom of the pot went burnt right after I put the pot on the cooker, and the mode I chose is “Fry”. I was very upset, so I went back to the shop to ask about it. The salesman told me that the pot is memang bad quality, so I can’t expect more than that. And so they refused to refund me the $$ and was saying that I actually spoilt the pot. After all the talking and argument, my offer to them is that I “pay” for the “FREE” pot and I’ll get the balance back. But the salesman told me that they need time to check for the price of the pot. So I need to wait. They suggested me to go back and wait for their call. So, fine! They’ve promised to call me back in the afternoon, but they DID NOT! Until I called them again the next morning, they told me that the “FREE” pot costs RM30. OK, fine again! I went back to the stupid shop to get my “spoilt” pot and balance of $$ back. Went there and I had to explain the whole thing again to one of the bosses because the salesman is busy entertaining other customers. After another round of explaining, I finally got my RM140 back. Oh ya, and with the spoilt pot.
All I wanted to say is that the service there really sucks. I mean I can understand there will be defect units for all sorts of product. But it is the way they “entertain” me that makes me sick. They tried every way to delay me. Send back to service lah, call to check for the cost lah, normally it takes 3 days lah.. all sorts of excuses. They are just trying to delay your time, so that you feel impatient and leave.
So, stay away from Legend although it is cheap!

Never trust sales person
Referring to the previous post, I already subscribe for ASTRO service and until now they not yet get back to me about the status of my registration. Trying for many times to reach the sales person, but the sales person cannot be reach. The sales booth that I subscribe is actually located at Kelana Jaya Giant.
This added some bad impression about sales person can be found at public place like hypermarket. I think this will be the first and last for any subscriber for any service at any sales booths, they are simply irresponsible and make lots of empty promise during registration.
Really disappointed with people nowadays, I hope every one viewing my post can rethink about commitment during work. And please responsible for your words and really do your best to deliver your service. Life can be peaceful with everyone serious when doing your duty and deliver the best for your company and customer.

Moving to new house
Tomorrow morning, we will move to new house officially. House is almost ready and can move any time by now, but Chinese believe that moving house, we need to pick a nice day for that and also need to do some traditional method when move in.
I am not sure about how true is this, but because of my parents are coming over to do moving with me. So I need to follow the tradition way for moving to new house. It is a true challenge for me to get everything accomplished in this week with all the tools ready for the house moving because I am not so expert in all the method.
Chinese believe that it’s good to bring some good luck when moving to new house and live harmony in the future. So, preparations need to be done for the ceremony in place. I am almost done with the preparation.
Packing is still on going as this will take me another week just because some old stuff needs to clear and move some useful packing to new house. However I need to finish the packing before May because the contract of rental house that we staying will be terminated by end of this month.
This is another new beginning of my life in new house. May all the good luck with us after move to new house.

Subscribe for ASTRO
If you are stay at Malaysia, you should very familiar with ASTRO. ASTRO is the region’s leading cross-media operator with direct-to-home satellite television services in Malaysia. good and cheap DVD player
I am quite new when it comes to the DVD players. I never bought any of it as I always using my PC to play all the movies. Now when come to new house, I need to DVD player to be installing with my TV.
Some friends recommend me to use some known brand like SONY, PANASONIC etc. but some friends are even prefer to buy unknown brand with sophisticated features which come in cheap price. I am also not sure what is good to consider when come to buy DVD player. The DVD player I am looking for is can allow me to play DVD,DVD-R,DVD-RW, VCD, CD-R/RW, MP3, WMA. I think most of the format in place.
I will try to get some cheap and good DVD player for my house and try first before go for the expensive one. So, I no need to spend more money on it and get the testing period. Hence I will still using my PC to watch some movies.

NON-IT people are lack of computer knowledge
Referring to thestar news paper, stated that KL a cyber zombie city, says US firm. I think main reason KL’s PC has been a target for the illegal spyware is because Malaysian are lack on basic computer knowledge. Most of the computer users in Malaysia are using pirated OS and they simply don’t know that which link will cause them harm with a click away.
Colleague of mine always fall in to trap when surf net, and install some spyware in their PC make their internet access slow and complaint to me, and I got their Internet explorer are full of toolbars and some even with unknown character installed as their IE title. And most of them are not IT people. This can be preventing by block thru firewall, but since management allows surfing net, and the firewall features is not subscribe to use in my company. So, we need to do in manually thru internet setting.
I think some guide line should provide to them when they browsing thru internet and remind them on danger of installing some spyware in their PC. I am doing that starting from this year. Hope can really work out in the near future.

Plumber sucks
I mistakenly hired a bad plumber to install my plum at the lower part of the sink. He ends up finish the job with the water still comes out from the sink.
And He also help me to move the pipe from the side to the middle of the sink, and he need to hack the tiles to move the pipe and the finishing is not bad but tile beside the pipe are crack and he told me if I want to hack out again, he will crack the other 2. I was like stun for a while and tell him never mind. But after last night, we check that the sink is still not fit properly and we decided to call him to come again. And this time I am going to see him doing all the work and comment it immediately about the lack of his work.
I feel really headache nowadays with contractor as they like to delay works and also give some stupid excuse about their stupid work.

It took me 2 days to clean house
Clean house is not as easy as you think, I spent my weekend in my new house to clean up all the dust and dirty left over. And the house is not really clean yet. I need to mop the house again because after few time of mops, it still look dirty.
I am going to mop again for the next 2 days and will see what will be at the end. Toilets still not wash yet, as this is going to be my task for this week. Try to wash it after work as lights are installed and I can work during night to clean the toilet and left over.

Wiring work is done
Wiring work is done by today, tomorrow it’s time for cleaning. Today I already clean windows and door, the door and window are quite dusty because of the hacking and patching for the wiring and air-con pipe. Lights, fans and air-con are all installed and tested running well.
Floor need to be wash by tomorrow and Monday need some arrangement for the kitchen cabinet for installation. After all, my house is almost ready to move in. last will be furniture move in and curtain installation.
I will officially move in to the new house by end of this month, really can’t wait for that.

Tired!! Tired!! Tired!!
Nowadays very tired with house moving preparations, today vendor is working on the house patching process. Tomorrow will be another vendor coming in for the house painting. The house preparations are taking me sometimes and I have a permanent work to focus in as well.
I am quite tired with the arrangement as we need to meet dateline for end of month. No matter how, we need to move in by end of this month because our rental house contract will be terminate by end of this month. So, quite rush for the house moving. Wiring man taken out so long for finish his work and make our work delayed, and we need to rush for it. Just got the tiles for the piping adjustment purpose and will past to the contractor to do the wall patching of hacked wall for pipe adjustment.
By end of this week, we are going to have the house fully ready for install lights and fans. Next week will be furniture in the place. I hope the headache thing will end by next week. Cheers.

Jaring Wireless Broadband sucks
I have been using Jaring Wireless Broadband for more than 1 years as I staying at SS2 Petaling Jaya. I end up telling you all that the Jaring Broadband is Sucks. Nowadays I always bring back Maxis wireless Broadband from company, and I found out that the speed of Maxis broadband is much better than Jaring.
I get this conclusion as I tried it just alone myself using the Broadband without sharing, this is to avoid unfair comparison, and I got the speed is amazingly slow, until you need to wait for 2 minutes for a page to appear. It’s like 56k speed man. Maxis wireless broadband is much better when I access from my house alone as well, even thought it only 384K package.
When I tried online Speedtest to test my Jaring Speed, It actually returned my download speed is 352kb/s and upload speed is 37kb/s. compared to the actual 1Mb/s Package. Sigh~~
So, please reconsider when you want to subscribe for the broadband package. Don’t go for Jaring IF you stay at SS2 Petaling Jaya.

Ching Ming Festival
It’s month of April again and Ching Ming is near, Ching Ming Festival, also known as Tombs Sweeping Festival for chinse, This Festival is to encourage the young to remember their ancestors, and to pay respect to their ancestors.
Normally, we will start worshipping my Grandpa's tomb before the actual day of the festival, I think should be a week before. Then my parent will decide on the date to go for the actual day for praying my grand father. Back to 10 years ago, when I was still studying at my hometown, we always go for the exact date of the festival. This will never happen after we all came out for work at KL and my brother went to Work at Penang.
This year, won’t be able to make it this year because I need to work and still progress with the house moving preparations. Hope can go back for next years.

Instant messengers
Most of the IT people have their instant messenger ID, I am having 3 which is Yahoo, MSN and google talk. Most of the IT Company is encourage their staff to communicate using instant messenger. Keep in touch with friends. Asking friends about some issue facing. But for company which their core business is not IT, it’s very hard for them to allow their staff using instant messengers.
By technology growing from day to day, I am fully agree that company need to let people try using new technology to communicate with their client or colleague. As long as their staff not abuses the usage of the instant messenger, I think instant messenger is a good tool for communication and save money in return.
Too much of chatting might be another issue for company who allow their staff using instant messenger during work. Some company scared their staff will abuse by using instant messenger for just mainly chatting, they will monitoring the chatting from day to day using firewall.
I think the main concern will back to the individual itself as they need to discipline and show the company that they are mature to use instant messenger when working.

IE7 memory Usage is highest for my PC
Recently I found out that my PC are quite slow and sometimes hang, I am surprise with my PC memory usage. IE7 take the highest usage for my pc, no way can a web browser take out the most memory usage for a PC as they are only use for surfing, and my IE7 is without plug-in. It’s clean.

Just wonder Microsoft never considering on the memory usage when develop the IE7. I am quite happy with IE7 features but because of the high memory usage, I might switch permanently to Firefox.
Any one is facing the same problem like mine?
