Since last month I was talking about defects list inspection and repair. Ok, let have some clear define in that. I bought a condominium in PJ, which already completed by Jan 2008. Once we got a letter for key collection, it’s actually near Chinese New Year. I am staying at Kedah, I went back to Kedah for Chinese New Year celebration.
Then we got the key by 20 February 2008 and directly we go and finish our inspection for defects. What is actually inspected, main constructor is less resource to make sure 100% perfect on the property built. So, It will finish with some defects that left by main constructor like windows not able to lock properly, door crack and so on. After inspection, you can fill in the form that ready by management office for defect list. After submit, they committed to finish the repair by 28 working days. The process is slow in the sense of they mostly will left out some defects repair.
We submitted our defects list by 25th February 2008. It will be finish by next week. Their rules stated that before defect repaired, they not allow our own constructor come in for house renovation. So, we will only start to build our kitchen cabinet by next week and also wiring for the extra points.
We went to check the defect list repair again this morning, and they stated the inspection and repair already done, but it's actually undone. So, will take another 2 days to finish the work. Hope thay can speed up the progress, and I can start my minor renovation next week.
