I find myself having problems in cooping with stress these days. There are just too much to worry about; not only work, but also your life. You need to take care of your people at work, worry about deadlines, performance and KPI. In life, you need to look after your family members, your loved ones and your friends. Sometimes, life is really miserable. But all and all, you can’t let all these obstacles to beat you down, rite? So I figure out some ways to let myself out, to SET MYSELF FREE!!
First, EXERCISE!! I played futsal whenever I am feeling down or not well. It is so refreshing after exercising and you actually feel good about yourself. It doesn’t have to be futsal, it can be yoga, belly dancing, badminton or others. Exercise is a good way to keep you yourself healthy both physically and mentally.
Secondly, get yourself a HOBBY!! People who are busy would care less about being worried of everything. For me, I enjoy playing PC games, especially football games. Be it strategic or simulation games, I enjoy the moment I try hard to figure out which strategy or pattern fits my team the most. I am like into the game, as if it is more than just a game. Those game-lovers will know exactly how I feel. I am sorry if you don’t have a hobby now, but start exploring now. It doesn’t have to be something new or fancy. It could just probably be something you used to be fond of, but just has been deserted for quite some time.
Next on, VACATION!! I always enjoy vacation. The destination doesn’t have to be luxurious, but preferably exotic. Grab a map, walk around, take a cab, get a bus tour, enjoy the food, and meet the people. Traveling actually widen your view, and helps you to think from different perspective.
These are the 3 things I can think of for now to stress-free myself. And most importantly, they work! Cheers!
