As many of you should know that I just moved in to my new house by last month, after few weeks of staying. I am trying to making it as comfortable as I can to become home. This sound weird for you maybe, but this is what I want to do in near future.
What is the difference between house and home? Good question. House is only a building with 4 walls and might divide by small wall for bedroom, bathroom, yard and so on. Home is a place that you feel comfortable and feel like going back after a long day works.
In your life, you might able to get a house easily if you are earning enough for that, but the feeling of being "at home" isn't all that is eventually involved. Why say so? This is because house can be very small but eventually get the feeling of home if there is lots of love inside your house.
I still can remember July last year I posted a post titled finding a place we call home. This is where I begin my journey to find a home. Luckily I and my fiancée are having a same sense about the design and color, so the design is actually quite comfortable for us and it match what we dream of. First few weeks of staying, there is lots of argument happen. This is because we never used to stay together alone in a house, I think I need more to make it “at Home” feeling after finding what is actually shorting in our relationship between us. Environment is feeling good at this moment, only shorting some love in my house to make it a home.
As I understand that making a home is putting your heart for making it as a home, so that the building that you purchase become your home with love and care you put into it. So, I strongly agreed that the most important thing to making your house become a home is love and passion.
