I have been struggling about this question since last few years, I been deliver on time all my projects. Never take MC if not necessary. I even committed to my work and come to work almost every weekend to make sure my department function well.
In fact, I am just a normal staff that taking a small piece of the income of my company. I am really underpaid when compare with my x-classmate. But my personality not allows me to slumber during my work.
Currently I am struggling to handle my staff for let them commit to their job, I also have a small though that “Am I too serious about my work?” My staff even can take MC for 3 days just after a dental extraction, what I can do is just keep quiet just because I don’t have rights to question about that. At the other hand I need to follow up their unfinish tasks and make sure all the things working fine. Is this the right culture for working environment?
Really, sometimes I really though that I am too much when doing my job. Should i relax and don't force myself by think too much for work?
So, do you think I should?
chill... :D dont put too much pressure on urself, what do u get in return? A sicker you and a richer boss :P
ReplyDeleteTrue statement.
ReplyDeletethat's why I started to let go...
:)
well, i dont think u hv problem with ur good attitude. as for me, i know i'd just be the same like u. always keep thing on d track. dont pressure urself to think whether u r too serious or not. the more u think, the more pressure u gain eventho at the very beginning u dont hv prob to be d way u wanted to be. n now, since u r starting to let go, horray. maybe its d time for u to look at thing as a part of routines. not a part of tasks. tasks will never finish. routines..well, they will always be. chill bro~ :)
ReplyDeleteSarah,
ReplyDeleteThank you for giving me all the supports.
I am starting to let go just because I got other things to focus on. In the other words, I learn to focus on some important task.
Cheers~~
