Malaysians will vote on March 8 in the next general election. If you happen to register to vote on this coming election, please make yourself available for 8th of March 2008 if you already registered to vote. The Election Commission announced that candidates will be nominated on February 24, which will officially launch a 13-day campaign period before the March 8 vote.
The vote on March 8 will be to elect 222 federal and 505 state legislators. There are 10.9 million registered voters in the country for this election.
