I love Webkit! And you should too…

Have to say that people are moving from bring the big laptop to smartphone and tablet when they wish to have an electronic device that can surf the internet while relaxing at the chair of some known café.

Smartphone and tablet's OS been nominated by mobile provider, Apple IOS, Google’s Android, Research in Motion’s Blackberry, and Microsoft’s Windows Mobile. Off cause some of the players like Symbian and Baba from Samsung. Eventually that each of these different operating systems has its own way of developing and deploying “native” apps.

With mobile and tablets is the focus, people will start to focus on mobile users market, you might spend many thousands dollars to get one apps to run on Iphone IOS, and have to spend little more thousand more to get it run at Google’s Android, and give an impression that people would like tablet version, you have to pour out few thousand for tablet’s version and there are few tablet with different resolutions.

Inside smartphone and tablet’s technology, some of them have 1 thing in common which is they are using webkit-base browser. You can have a research on it and WebKit-based browsers run on nearly all of the major smartphone and tablet operating systems.

With Webkit, business owner can have 1 cost on 1 web apps to cover every single type of device. Developer can just focus on HTML, CSS and Javascript on 1 apps that really make life easier. and now they are bringing HTML5 supported for tablet and mobile.

With Webkit-based browser, mobile will no need to get a notification from “store” and updates every time the native apps out of date. This seriously 1 thing that always annoying me a lots nowadays and I always have like 45 outstanding updates to run!

In fact, Web is always the best way to go for with Webkit in mind. So, we can have our data store in web cloud storage and switch tablets and smartphone.

PJ half marathon

2 weeks after I came back from mount Kinabalu, running reminder keep hitting my head when come to 6 o'clock afternoon. I think it is time to grab my running shoe and have a 2KM run. It been a good habit for me since I have the Nike+ running apps installed for my iphone. Seriously it really train my determination and discipline everyday on get myself a healthy life.

Since I have this running habit, I seem like addicted to Marathon as well, today I have a dilemma on choosing the right distance for PJ half marathon event. My mind asked me to challenge for half marathon, but my body ask me to register for 7KM. Finally i made up my mind to register for 7KM only. :P

I have tested myself on 7KM which take me 51 minutes to finish the route, I think it shouldn't be any issue for me to finish it between the timeline. Just have some concern about myself to finish 21KM in 3 hours should be tough test. I still consider myself a weak runner if compare to some of the fast runner who can finish 7KM in 30 minutes time.

Still long way to go anyway. For those who like to join me in PJ half marathon run, please go to this http://www.pjhalfmarathon.com and register at http://www.myraceonline.com/

Starbucks vs coffee bean

Been so long never post anything in tho blog. It is time to start it up again. :P
Sitting at coffee bean at this hour of time with the burning hot weather outside, this must be enjoyable coffee I can say. So, comparing 2 common cafe in Malaysia Starbucks and coffee bean. Which one get you contribute the most on your monthly expenses? :P
For me, I like to have coffee bean's latte compare to starbuck's. But if you talking about environment and facility, I would go for starbucks.

But sometime I will choose to hang out at coffee bean because of the tasty coffee they serve.
